The "bottleneck" at the narrow part of Lake Malawi north of the two southern arms.
On the eastern shore (below) are the town of Makanjila and prominent Cape Ngombo,
Malawi; north (right) of them are Meponda, Gilambo Point, and
northward in Mozambique. On the western shore (above) is Senga, Malawi.
